Quality, security, hygiene
Active in the food chain, we committed ourselves to the strictest requirements in terms of traceability, manufacturing, works methods and certification. Our production facilities and manufacturing partners comply with the highest international hygiene and food safety standards and are HACCP, GMP, ISO22000 and / or FSSC 22000 certified, ensuring full control over quality of our products and raw materials at every stage.
ISO 22000: 2005 standard
This international food product safety standard was launched in 2005. BHA is certified for this standard by the inspection and certification body, Promag. Within the context of this standard, an HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) study was carried out. The purpose of this management system is the prevention, elimination or reduction to an acceptable level of biological, chemical and physical hazards. A very systematic and structured study, it is an important step in our quality assurance.
Organic products
Some of our products, in particular milk powder, are subject to controls to justify their “organic agriculture” labelling. Controls are carried out by inspection agency Certisys BE-BIO-01.
RSPO
the goal of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil is to promote sustainable production methods. Our vegetable fat products are oriented towards this certification, which integrates both environmental and social criteria: reducing as much as possible the use of chemical products, as well as respecting human rights including the territorial rights of local people and the right to form trade unions.
